Is There Funding For GKAS?

One of the fundamentals of the GKAS programme is that treatment should be delivered at no cost to the patient or the local NHS team. Many of our practice partners with an NHS contract get involved as part of their CSR contribution, seeing children on an appointed "day of action" and scheduling follow-up appointments as needed. And practices without a local NHS contract are encouraged to participate as part of their commitment to social responsibility.

After signing up, your local GKAS team will help you identify children in need and invite them for an appointment, where you and your dental team will provide assessments and treatment. You will receive support from Colgate, who provide take-home brushing packs to help maintain oral health after the appointment.
