Description
Sterile, antibacterial sutures with synthetic, absorbable monofilaments made from the polyester poly (p-dioxanone). Particularly useful when a combination of an absorbable suture and extended wound support is needed. Inhibition of bacterial colonization on the suture was shown in vitro and in vivo. Provides 4 to 6 weeks of tissue support.
