Versatile blood pressure monitor that can be used fully automatically or manually controlled. Can be used either as an oscillometric or auscultatory device. Provides an average reading mode that allows more accurate diagnosis, based on 3 successive readings. Quiet operation makes the monitor perfectly suitable for 24-hour use in hospital wards. Large LCD display to clearly show systolic, diastolic and heart rate readings all at the same time, and a hide function to help alleviate patient anxiety. Device can average across 2 or 3 readings and can detect arrhythmias, displaying anomalies clearly for further investigation. Can be powered from rechargeable batteries or used with a mains adaptor, making it suitable for use away from the practice.
