Isovac® Dental Suction Tool

Isovac improves mobility in the practice workflow

The Isovac serves as an assistant to dental hygienists by acting as a dental isolation adapter that can be connected onto an existing high-volume evacuator (HVE) coupler.

This innovative tool is designed to provide tongue and cheek retraction, continuous suction, and isolation for two quadrants simultaneously. By doing so, it allows dentists to maintain control over moisture and humidity levels throughout the oral cavity. It also helps improve patient management, safety, and comfort during dental procedures.

Isolite® Dental Isolation Systems

Isolite protects patients from airborne bacteria

It is crucial to ensure the utmost protection for both dental practitioners and patients from potential sources of infection within a dental setting. During the use of high-speed handpieces, ultrasonic scalers, and other instruments, aerosols are generated that carry not only water particles but also bacteria, viruses, blood, and saliva. Such aerosols may contain as many as 100,000 bacteria per cubic foot of air.

One of the best ways to minimise the risk of infection is to reduce particles with continuous suction.

The Isolite technique is more effective than using a rubber dam plus a high-volume evacuator (HVE) or a HVE alone in reducing the quantity of airborne particles. This can help to decrease the risk of exposure to airborne bacteria and pathogens for both clinicians and patients.

Discover the future of dental isolation with the Isolite 2

The Isolite 2 brings further advances in dental isolation, including a brighter white light, and a true non-curing amber light. The Isolite 2 enables dentists to establish a standard protocol efficiently and promptly, which results in consistent outcomes during dental procedures. With this system, dentists can achieve better visibility and moisture control, enhancing efficiency and clinical results.

Moreover, it ensures patient safety and comfort by offering unparalleled control over the oral environment, including improved visibility, oral humidity control, and minimising the risk of accidental contamination.

The Isolite 2 also features brighter illumination in white light and true amber, a sturdy head design, and a smart adapter that allows you to retain your existing HVE line along with the Isolite 2.

In a randomised control study of paediatric patients with high caries risk, 95% of sealants placed using the Isolite remained intact at 12 months, compared to 78% of sealants placed with the cotton roll method.

In addition to providing comfortable isolation, the Isolite reduces moisture and humidity levels, enabling the sealant bonding material to effectively reach the cracks and crevices of the tooth and dry properly. Furthermore, it offers bright illumination in both bright white and non-curing amber light, ensuring clear visibility for accurate and precise application of the sealant.
