Is it viral or bacterial infection?

Available in as little as 10 minutes, the results of the FebriDx test can indicate what kind of infection the patient may or may not have. And the results couldn’t be easier to interpret.

If the red MxA line appears, this indicates a viral infection as MxA is a biomarker that is released when the body is attacked by viral infections. Viral infection patients can then be managed appropriately to reduce the spread of infection.

If only a black result line is visible this indicates a bacterial infection. Negatives tests are indicated by a single blue control line.
