When used in conjunction with the Acteon image management software, the C50 can help record changes in the patient's oral condition over time. 4 modes: Daylight mode records natural colours for a better interpretation of tooth shade, pathology identification and patient follow-up; Daylight+ mode provides high contrasts emphasising anatomic fissures and details of the dentine structure/depth; Perio mode enhances dental plaque and gingival inflammation thanks to chromatic amplification; and Cario mode detects caries by fluorescence technique.
